What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and more info the bonus website terms, is here at Trade The Day.
